January 2010: Charger wins his 2nd major at the Kenai Kennel Club show in Anchorage, 1/24/10. This brings him to 8 points!
March 4th: Got my official letter from the American Rottweiler Club that Brodes, Multi-HIT Brodix vom Reschaven, CD, RE, TN-E, WV-N, is in the Top 10 for Rottweilers in Novice Obedience for 2009. According to the ARC website, he is currently ranked #9!
March 14th: Got the official word that “Big Al” did indeed qualify for Silver Dam status from her 4 offspring from her one litter. What a great brood bitch, whelped 12 healthy pups and nursed them all. R.I.P. Allicin vom Reschaven, VCD2, RE, CGC.
March 15th: Got another letter from ARC for Clyde, he is in the Top 10 for Rally Novice. Clyde vom Reschaven, RN, is currently ranked in a tie for #5! (Actually he ended up tied for 6th)
June 4th: Charger got his RN in 3 shows, and Clyde got Reserve Winners in his first 2 shows in 2 years. Brodes has gotten first place in the last 2 Rally Plus runs.
July 4th: Berlin earns her first MJP leg, only 1 AXP leg to go before retiring from AKC agility.
On July 25th, Kanosak’s Xtratuf, aka Boots, joined the household. She is out of CH BAAR’s Im A Believer Kanosak VCD2 UDX3, OM2, RE, MX, MXJ x Kanosak Nightsky At Falconsnest VBAAR VCD1, UD, RE.
In the September TVKC Agility Trials, Berlin completed her Excellent Standard Preferred title, added on 2 more MJP legs and an MXP leg, to finish her AKC Agility career with the AXP/AJP, 1 MXP and 3 MJP legs. What a Girl!
Charger earned his first RA leg with a second place at the CIKC trial in November.
Clyde earned his CGC November 16th.
Charger will now be living with Merle Page since she misses her 2 Rottweilers, who both went to the Rainbow Bridge last month. He will still be shown in Breed and Rally.
As I was looking at the dogs’ NADAC titles, I realized that Berlin qualified for the Novice Versatility award, in 2009! Better late than never…
Clyde won 2nd place in his Middleweight division at the Winter Solstice weight pull on Dec 11. He won $75 and a very nice crystal trophy!
